During our long silence, a lot has changed inside VocalVideo's base code. We are now embracing a brand new and complete MVC architecture. We also studied more in depth how to implement our social network and chose most of the future features.

An MVC architecture in software development is a way of implementing user interface separating data management from the management of the user interface. Unlike our previous  architecture, the current implementation is built of many smaller modular components. At the same time, it made our system more consistent and flexible than ever. This should translate into faster development of newer features and fewer maintenance.

Our development should speed up in the following weeks as we complete our transition to the newer architecture and fix bugs in the framework.
